Ulster Historical Foundation celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2006 and as part of our year-long programme of events we are hosting a celebratory conference themed Belfast: past, present and future. Through a series of presentations, tours and innovative events you will have the opportunity to learn about the history of Belfast and its inhabitants over several centuries from noted historians and practitioners, while exploring the city for yourself and searching for your ancestors. The programme will include contributions from local experts and noted overseas professionals working in the fields of Irish research and history.

Ulster Historical Foundation would like to invite you to join us in Belfast from September 25th – October 3rd for what will be a truly memorable event and to tell us what you want us to focus on in the future. The genealogical community is a vibrant one and Ulster Historical Foundation will continue to bring you new resources and facilities throughout the coming years.
