How do I change my Password?


Login to the system using your current membership number and password. Click here to Login
If you cannot remember your password then you can change your password automatically by completing the Forgot Password form. Click here to go to the Forgot Password Form Once you fill this in the system will automatically send you a new password by email.
Once you login please click on the Change Password Form. Note: You have to login first to change your password. The Change Password Form is also available on the Left Hand Menu once you login.
If you change your password on the www.ancestryireland.com it will change your password on all Ulster Historical Foundation sites.

How do I view recently purchased records within the 100 day limit?

 

To view recently purchased records you first have to be logged in. On the Family Records page, click on the database from which the records were purchased. Records available to be viewed will appear at the top of the page.

 

How do I view or change my account details?

 

First, make sure you are logged in. Click on Membership (not Member's Area) and click the link named Your Details.

 

How do I renew my membership?

 

First, make sure you are logged in. Click on Membership (not Member's Area) and click the link named Your Details. A link to renew your membership should appear on the left. Click this and complete the form.

 

How do I access the member's area?

 

The member's area is only available to Guild members. If you are a Guild member, when you log in using your membership number and password a link to the members' area will appear in the menu on the left.

 

You receive the following error message when trying to log in: 'You do not seem to have cookies enabled in your browser. Please try enabling cookies and try again.'

 

If you're seeing a message that your browser's cookie functionality is turned off, it's possible that you don't have cookies enabled in your browser. Below are listed browser-specific instructions on how to enable your cookies.

 

To enable cookies in Internet Explorer 7 or 8:

 

Click Start > Control Panel. (Note: with Windows XP Classic View, click the Windows Start button > Settings > Control Panel).

Double-click the Internet Options icon.

Click the Privacy tab.

Click the Advanced button.

Select the option 'Override automatic cookie handling' under the Cookies section in the Advanced Privacy Settings window.

Select the 'Accept' or 'Prompt' option under 'First-party Cookies.'

Select the 'Accept' or 'Prompt' option under 'Third-party Cookies.' (Note: if you select the 'Prompt' option, you'll be prompted to click OK every time a website attempts to send you a cookie.)

In the Internet Options window, click OK to exit.
